Carl Johnson

Founder - CEO

Carl's marketing background includes the following; placing & selling advertising, General Manager of a newspaper, working at an advertising agency, opening his own advertising agency, consulting with companies across the US placing their marketing message in over 45 international channels. Carl's unique insights with his marketing background coupled with his Real Estate career, provide exceptional tools that set 4RE Marketing's clients above the rest.

Carl's remarkable ability to see marketing for all sides of the table, provides tools that are unique to 4RE Marketing's portfolio of services.

As the company Founder, Carl puts his heart and soul into his work while treating everyone with the utmost respect and kindness. In doing so, Carl has created a reputation for his knowledge, acute attention to detail, extraordinary marketing campaigns, and passion for North Carolina and the Real Estate industry. Combining years of marketing and management, his marketing has created an extremely strong brand for his company and the marketing campaigns he has created. Carl's experience has landed him as a respected broker and marketing professional in North Carolina. With a high energy "client-first" mentality, Carl goes above and beyond the usual expectation by creating a “Title Wave” for all that he markets. Carl’s unique approach to marketing Real Estate has created extremely high engagement. Carl’s detail-oriented approach communicates features and benefits that illustrate the subject of the project in a place of strength in the marketplace. Carl's life role has always been consultative, looking out for the best interests of others.

Carl is also very honored to be asked to be a member of the Durham Regional Association of REALTORS grievance committee. As a member of this committee Carl and its members review any complaints to the local Durham Association of Realtors. Once they receive a grievance, it is vetted and goes to the committee members to review. Should the committee find the complaint to be a valid complaint it is then escalated by the committee members to the North Carolina Real estate commission.

Carl was honored to be voted by the readers of Durham Magazine as Best Realtor for 2022 & 2023.

Carl’s passion is creating and growing companies with talent that has a can-do approach, while encouraging a completely transparent company that supports all equally, while everyone learns from each other. Carl’s favorite saying is “you are only as good as those around you”. Carl has created his company with the mindset of, "how do I want to be treated"?

You can often find Carl singing as a tenor in his free time, talking about food, art, movies and cars with friends, or enjoying the beautiful outdoors of NC at home or traveling with his wife Anna, and Daughter Olivia (16).

Geena drives the marketing to be innovative, eye-catching, and custom to each client. She creates artwork with a local flair on multiple platforms from digital and beyond to ensure our clients are reaching their market no matter where they are. Geena's passion for the marketing industry provides a unique drive to research, create, and stay up-to-date on trends. With an emphasis on brand standard, Geena will provide marketing materials that will be clean and organized, marketing you as an industry leader in your market.

Nadja Gassert-Depape

Administrative Specialist

As the Administrative Specialist, Nadja oversees all processes that keep the company organized and focused on building the business. She creates and streamlines workflows in a variety of areas, which include contact management, software systems, marketing, and administrative projects. Her goal is to provide support to the team so that clients can have the best experience possible. Nadja is a native of Germany and a seasoned nomad. Driven by a genuine passion for serving others, Nadja initially pursued a career as a luxury hotel concierge, where she honed her innate desire to assist and support. In 2021, an unexpected opportunity led her to venture into the real estate industry.

Little did she anticipate the profound impact that real estate would have on her life. Combining her highly competent, results-oriented approach with exceptional organizational skills and a German knack for efficiency, Nadja found her calling as a real estate/marketing administrative specialist.

Her educational background includes a master's degree in Communication and Information Studies from Rutgers University.

When she’s not obsessing over project management, she’s a recovering sugar addict, an insomniac, and a voracious reader. Occasionally, she tries to say No to more foster kittens and rescue puppies. She loves horseback riding and doting on her baby succulents.

Jim Clinton


Jim brings over 20 years of marketing experience to 4RE Marketing. From traditional methods, to the latest viral trends, Jim has a proven track record of building a results driven campaign based around solid analytics and data. Jim's experience includes digital marketing where he has helped multiple companies grow their social media footprint and build both followers and engagement. He has also assisted from national television, radio & website development, to local print and billboards, Jim has experience in working with companies of all sizes and demographics. Jim is married with 4 children and is his downtime enjoys sports, fitness, and the outdoors.
